Looking for an ambitious individual that can help bring a newly formed concept to the next level. This individual will own the operation and help lead the team. The business is growing, but there are many more opportunities. This individual will help exploit those opportunities and ensure the execution is first rate.
The restaurant serves brunch/lunch/dinner, seats 40 and has outside seating for another 30 in good weather.
Primary duties include, but are not limited to…
- Lead the kitchen staff in all aspects of menu development and execution
- Manage food costs/ordering
- Chief expediter and wait staff developer
- Full time
Individual requirements…
- Minimum of 3 years working in a kitchen at a reputable establishment. Don’t need a disciple of David Chang or Bobby Flay, but someone that has strong experience.
- Culinary degree a plus, but not required
- Good collaborative attitude. We want a leader that will help guide the team, not a cancer in the kitchen that “knows everything”.
- Individual ownership. You will get as much creative freedom and responsibility as you warrant. The opportunity is up to you and how you approach it.
