Facilities Program Manager
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the appearance, safety and functionality of three DoDea school sites. Manages projects relating to buildings and grounds and provides technical knowledge and leadership for the facility operations. Supervises maintenance technicians as well as serving as the primary point of contact with contracting or their authorized representatives for the performance of all work on sites.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the monitoring of all essential building systems to assure systems are operating correctly and efficiently. Such systems include (but are not limited to): electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC.
Directly or through supervision of workers or external vendors completes all necessary painting, structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings, and maintenance of grounds.
Maintain positive relationships with schools, vendors, and oversight.
Requisitions necessary tools, equipment, and building and maintenance supplies.
Provide information, advice and recommendations to solve problems and address facility related concerns.
Ensure preventive maintenance is performed on all facilities equipment, site infrastructure and support facilities in compliance site requirements.
Communicate operational guidelines to staff so that information is disseminated uniformly in a manner that promotes understanding and compliance.
Maintains adherence to company safety policies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Background in Mechanical Systems Inspection, Preventative maintenance and Repair Requirements
- Direct Digital Control (DDC) Systems Inspection PM and Repair
- 10 years Program Management experience
- 8 years HVAC experience
- Understanding of electrical controls
- Able to read and understand blueprints
- Preventative Maintenance Management understanding
- Attention to detail, organization skill, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Salary Range $63-$73K plus benefits
