The primary functions of this position include planning, budgeting and oversight for state, fee and grant funded areas in Student Affairs OVC Business Hub including the Office of the Vice Chancellor, University Career Services, Dean of Students, Off-Campus Student Life, Accessibility Resource Services, LGBTQ Center, Student Affairs Information Technology, Student Conduct, Student Wellness, Campus Y, Student Affairs Finance and Human Resources and Student Affairs Development. This position is also the leadership liaison working with the Student Affairs Director of Human Resources to provide guidance for Human Resource needs. The position will also be a member of the Student Affairs Leadership Group that has organization-wide responsibilities for providing leadership for finance and human resource issues and initiatives. Financial Management: ? Compile, monitor, examine, and audit all fund sources assigned to the OVC Business Hub managing for accuracy, integrity, and conformance to accounting and program guidelines; ? Serve as technical advisor on fiscal management and reporting issues; ? Identify changing requirements and problems regarding management needs, fiscal procedures, account structures or reports, and accounting systems; ? Interpret and evaluate results, prepare documentation, and create financial reports and/or presentations; ? Draw conclusions and prepare written findings following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or other applicable accounting guidelines and present recommendations supported by facts. Information Analysis and Decision Making: Finance and Human Resources: ? This position provides analysis and support for all of the department heads in this OVC Business Hub, works closely with the Director of HR, Director of Business and Finance, and Associate Director of Finance; ? Budget planning for all student fee and administrative fee departments collaborating with each Department Director; ? State funding analysis and ensure fund allocation and usage in accordance with University and organizational expectations. Supervision: ? Support, train and supervise finance positions and all responsibilities in the in the OVC Business Hub; ? Responsible for establishing and maintaining a close working relationship and oversight of staff working with financial and human resource functions in this Hub and collaborate with the other Student Affairs Hubs. Business Administration: ? Ensure continuity, integration of policies and procedures with the organization?s mission and strategic plan; ? Develop and maintain clear policies and procedures and process workflows for all OVC Business Hub duties performed by staff including A/R, A/P, Payroll, Journals, General Ledger reconciliations, fund reserve-cash, gifts, endowment and investments, etc. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: ? Prepare written and/or technical products which convey concise, comprehensive, and accurate findings and conform to guidelines; ? Establish effective working relationships that foster organizational success. Customer Service & Other Duties as Assigned: ? Understand the multicultural approach to all priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, or related business area; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
