Job Description:
Primary roles and responsibilities will be to work with the Partners to support the launch of Grindstone Communication Solutions. The Director will be responsible for setting a positive office culture in a fast pace, high pressure environment. The Director will work with the Principal to recruit, train, and manage a large team of dialers, including managing work schedules, on-boarding and off-boarding, overseeing payroll and ensuring high quality outreach and communications.

GFS Director Duties:
- Manage the Grindstone Communication Solutions office
- Recruit and train staff
- Oversee payroll and ensure operations are in accordance with the California Fair Labor Standards Act
- Provide progress reports on strategic goals and organizational/advocacy activity daily
- Track and monitor data for quality and trends of interest
Qualifications:
- Minimum two cycles of campaign staff experience
- Experience managing or working with an auto-dialer or professional phone bank
- Strong organizational, management, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in setting and achieving measurable targets, managing teams, and coordinating between multiple priority projects
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
- Ability to execute strategic goals and think creatively to solve staffing and workload challenges
- Experience with voter software, such as PDI or VAN preferred but not required
- Must be able to work long hours in a high‐stress environment
- Must be available through November 2020

Compensation:
$60,000 – $72,000, vacation and bonus opportunities available
