- The Assistant Director of the Lockbox Unit has overall responsibility of the rent collection activities which include the monthly billing, processing and posting of payments made by NYCHA residents. In addition, the position will play a key role in the transition from the current legacy system (A/S 400) to the new Siebel/Oracle platform.
- Manage Statement Printing and Remittance Processing contract.
- Introduce new and improve payment options for residents.
- Coordinate the work and supervise staff of 8.
- Act as the Finance liaison with various in-house and outside stakeholders.
- Reconciliation of payments received to the amounts posted to resident accounts.
- Prepare reports and metrics of the rent collection.
- Participate in the design and implementation of the new Siebel/Oracle rent collection system.
- Coordinate testing and training of the new system.

2. A valid New York State Certified Public Accountant license and at least 18 months of satisfactory full-time professional accounting or auditing experience in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity or supervising a staff performing accounting or auditing work.
- Experience and working knowledge of Oracle or similar system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and financial skills.
- Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and analytical skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Experience in Project Management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
