The Vice President is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of coordinated and comprehensive services. Serves on the Sr. administrative team to provide input and follow through with strategic direction as indicated in the mission of the Agency. Programs provided must meet licensing and accreditation standards and conform to the Agency’s values, performance standards, policies and procedures. The Vice President is responsible for promoting and modeling a work atmosphere that reflects the agency values.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Ensures functional structures that support the changing needs of the organization
- Interprets organizational direction and ensures alignment of processes and structure to achieve strategy and goals
- Analyzes company goals and objectives to develop a clear picture of the resources, structure, and skills required of their functional areas to deliver on changing strategies and challenges. Develops plans to ensure sufficient and effective talent when and where it is needed
- Effectively balances the competing priorities of different constituencies by continually choosing among competing ideas/projects and selecting those that best support and enable business goals
- Analyzes management information and continuous quality improvement data collection to identify ways to streamline and/or improve efficiency. Considers impact of improvements on all management functions when developing plans and implementing changes
- Researches emerging trends in serving individuals and identifies alternative funding to develop recommendations for new programs and services
Required Skills
- Must have access to timely and reliable transportation to transport self to multiple sites
- Ability to skillfully influences peers, colleagues and executives toward willing involvement in a particular course of action; build broad-based business relationships across the organization; influence all levels of the organization and drive change
- Able to put issues on the table that are sensitive and potentially emotional in a manner that enables movement toward improvement/resolution
- Responsible to demonstrate strong standup facilitation and presentation skills for effective delivery of messaging
Required Experience
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelorâs degree in business, human services, or other relevant discipline. Masterâs degree preferred. Five (5) yearsâ experience in a role of similar scope and complexity. A combination of education or experience will be considered
