Vice President of Pharmacy Development and Operations
Required Qualifications:
  • 10 years in a supervisory role within a heath care setting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
  • FQHC experience preferred.
Duties:
  • Identifies opportunities to utilize financial reimbursement through available grants, the 340b program, specialty/limited drug distribution and/or previously unidentified medication usage/need.
  • Supports population based medication utilization evaluations to identify areas for medication use process optimization.
  • Assists in identification of pharmacy initiatives aimed at medication adherence optimization through close involvement in integrated patient care.
  • Provide leadership and direction for Pharmacy serviced while achieving high quality customer service.
  • Provides oversight to support appropriate use of and education for 340b Pharmacy.
  • Responsible for pharmacy contractual relationships and ensures adherence to the intent of contractual needs to minimize inappropriate billing and maximize reimbursement.
  • Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.
  • All other duties as assigned.
