Functional Pathways is hiring a Vice President of Human Resources at our corporate office in Knoxville, TN.

This role manages all aspects of HR including employee engagement, compensation, strategic benefits, ACA compliance, and employee relations. Additionally, this role is responsible for overseeing all learning and development capability within the organization and ensuring appropriate resource availability to design, develop, and deliver effective training solutions aligned with the organization’s strategy, commitments, and values. The role is critical in driving the business strategy by developing bench strength in the organization that enables growth and development among all employee segments including an organization-wide succession planning process to recognize and create future leaders. This role proactively consults with all lines of business and recommends HR and Learning strategic solutions to improve critical business outcomes and reduce turnover, partnering with business leaders to identify learning and development needs and gaps. Must understand the dynamics of a multi-product, diverse field organization and be able to tailor the approach and solutions for maximum effectiveness.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or business-related discipline, and a minimum of 10 years of health industry-related experience including 5 years in a direct healthcare management role with knowledge of multi-state rules/regulations and ACA compliance requirements. The ability to travel on an occasional basis is required.
