Position Summary:
Provides extensive counsel and advice to HR and management on a variety of labor and employment related matters, including workplace investigations, discrimination/harassment claims, Affirmative Action Plans, FMLA and other protected leaves, ADAAA reasonable accommodations, employee relations including discipline and terminations, wage and hour issues, background checks, drug testing, and unemployment. Provides oversight of compensation and employee benefit plans. Conducts employment diligence for potential business acquisitions and participates in the integration process for completed acquisitions.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a degree in Human Resources or other related field. Must have at least two years experience as a Regional HR Consultant in the Long Term Care industry providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including employee relations, compensation, hiring and recruiting practices, promotion practices, mitigation of risk, accommodations, and employment-related policies. Must possess strong leadership abilities.
