Summary:

Accountable for all aspects of McLaren Corporate Laboratory Services. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, strategic planning, meeting customer service expectations, program growth and development, oversight of daily operations, delivery of cost effective services, establishing and meeting a budget, regulatory compliance, and corporate standardization of processes, policy and procedures.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic planning for all laboratory services across the system.
  • Accountable for growth and expansion of laboratory services including new site development and acquisition strategies.
  • Identifies, recommends and acts upon business opportunities related to laboratory services for McLaren.


Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in medical technology

  • Laboratory certification by ASCP

  • Ten (10) years laboratory management experience in inpatient and outpatient environment.

  • Five (5) years management experience in a complex multi healthcare system or reference laboratory


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA/Advanced degree in management or other related course work

  • Experience in financial management, pro-forma development and business development
