Vice President, Agency IT Strategy

Responsible for serving as the strategic interface with agents for the purpose of business/IT strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. Functions as the business relationship linkage between leadership, independent agents and Stewart’s Technology & Business Services team. Focuses on establishing and maintaining value-driven, strategic relationships with customers and proactively managing business demand.

• Partners with agents to align technology solutions with business strategies/vision; contributes to the business unit strategic planning process
• Identifies opportunities to implement technology solutions that increase efficiency and help agents provide an optimal customer experience
• Builds relationships with agents to evaluate and anticipate business needs; Identifies IT products and services to fulfill those needs and proposes solutions including IT opportunity pipeline management and qualification, internal value modeling and proposing processes
• Facilitates the planning and execution of business changes through the use of technology
• Proactively shares knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business units
• Plans and coordinates investigations, feasibility studies and surveys of proposed and existing information systems, applications and business needs
• Promotes an understanding of IT roles, processes and activities while acting as primary advocate of IT services
• Manages and ensures adherence to policies, procedures, business and technical standards, methods, and priorities
• Determines and drives the scope of IT projects and coordinates delivery with Stewart’s Technology & Business Services team and/or 3rd party vendors
• Works with 3rd party vendors as needed to review and negotiate statements of work (SOWs) and other business agreements
• Provide direct management over and direct agency technology focused teams/resources as required
• Provides leadership and direction through managers, supervisors and/or individual contributors
• Accountable for the performance and results of a function/sub-function, division/region
• Executes business plans and contributes to the development of business strategy
• Decisions are guided by business unit or regional strategy and priorities
• Applies broad industry knowledge and commercial awareness to drive financial performance

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
• 10+ years of related work experience
