Manager for our multi -million-dollar food distribution company located in
Philadelphia, PA.
Our Transportation-logistics manager plays a key role in
fulfilling Company promises to our customers to meet and exceed their
expectations.
This position is responsible for managing the execution,
direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within the
organization. This includes managing budgets, organizing schedules &
routes, ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet legal DOT requirements. This position is responsible to hire and coordinate
training as well. Internal communication
is key in our organization. This
position requires five (5) years prior experience in a supervisory/management role
preferably working in a union environment.
Excellent problem solving and customer service skills a
must. Person needs to be a self-starter
and highly motivated who can work in a very energetic environment. Previous Transportation and/or Logistics
experience in a distribution/warehouse industry is a MUST! Managing and coordinating CRM-dispatch
management system is a plus.
