We currently need a structured cabling project manager. This is an excellent opportunity for the right “gung-ho” person who is passionate about technology and understands what it means to be customer driven.
Responsibilities:
- Manage technology installations at multiple sites within NYC, northern
NJ, Westchester County and CT.
- Provide excellent customer communications.
- Manage customer and team relationships.
- Organize and schedule work.
- Assemble project team and review scope of work.
- Prepare drawings and specifications for technician’s use.
- Supervise and train cable technicians.
- Survey new job opportunities.
- Prepare estimates and proposals.
- Monitor job cost and profitability.
- Inspect and maintain quality assurance.
- Prepare punch lists.
- Apply safety program.
- Prepare project documentation including test reports, as-built drawings, cable
schedules and customer satisfaction surveys.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred.
- RCDD preferred.
- 2+ years of structured cabling installation experience.
