    Site Manager

    Grime and Shine Cleaning Solutions is seeking a Project Site Manager to begin in January 2020. This person directs the work efforts of other Company employees as they perform all aspects of cleaning/housekeeping operations at a post-construction site, business, or residential home. The Site Manager reports to the Operations Manager. As the primary client point-of-contact, the Site Manager interacts frequently and closely with Client management and other contract employees for issues relating to cleanliness and housekeeping employees. The Site Manager is the first Quality Control check for job performance, profitability, client relations, employee relations, safety, and risk management.

    The Site Manager organizes and oversees the cleaning crew in the daily cleaning of the property. He/she performs daily inspections for quality control and detail items and, whenever possible, walks the property at least once per week with Client to identify areas requiring additional work and to ensure the quality of work being performed is satisfactory to Client. The Site Manager continually reviews his/her plans with the Client regarding project work, heavy floor work, carpet care, and other details. The company expects the Site Manager to assume responsibility for every aspect of every job at his/her job site.

    This is a “hands-on” management job. The Site Manager may be required to perform any aspect of a crewmember’s duties as necessary to ensure complete customer satisfaction and may be expected to personally perform certain cleaning functions every day.

    The Site Manager generally works Monday through Friday. He/she is available seven days per week and must change his/her schedule at any time to accommodate business needs. Weekend work may be required from time to time.

    Location: Based in Philadelphia, PA but travel may be required for Deleware, New Jersey

    Site Manager Qualifications:

    • 5 years of Post-Construction and/or Residential Cleaning Experience
    • 3-5 years of Managerial Experience
    • Have reliable transportation
    • Pass drug trust and background check
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Establish realistic short and long-term goals and objectives
    • Delegate tasks appropriately to employees
    • Organize and allocate the right resources for task achievement
    • Schedule and co-ordinate activities for maximum efficiency
    • Empower staff members to achieve outcomes
    • Monitor progress towards desired objectives
