Senior Technical Director, Mining Reclamation

We are seeking a world-class subject matter expert to contribute to our mine reclamation business.You willcontribute to ourmarket strategy and growth in the North American mine reclamation market with both government and mining clients.

We will expect you to both identify and execute remediation/reclamation opportunities. As new projects are awarded, you will be expected to overseeboth project development and project execution, as described in more detail below. Responsibilities will include:

Market and promote Parsons expertise in mine reclamation, and develop/ build key client and industry relationships to further our movement into the North American mine reclamation market.

Identify and work with potential clients directly indiscussions about the technical and regulatory challenges faced during reclamation on mine sites and promote Parsons expertise and abilities to address these challenges.

Provide the development of and technical direction for our team, on the various issues associated with mine reclamation.

Partner with our business development team and program managers to identify projects, develop proposals, and win bids.

Provide technical direction for mine reclamation, as well as working with our team on project scoping, scheduling, and budget preparation.

Job Requirements:

• 4-year degree (minimum)
• 15+ years of related environmental engineering work experience focusing on mine reclamation
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Demonstrate success in working in a team environment, being an excellent team player as well as a leader.
• Willingness to train and develop less experiences team members is expected.
• Strong passion for building business
• Strong relationships in the industry and ability to interface at all levels within client organizations
• Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage and prioritize several assignments simultaneously.
• Energetic self-starter with ability to prioritize
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent English communication skills are essential (written, verbal, and presentation)
