Senior Manager of Enterprise Systems
Traxxas is seeking a Senior Manager of Enterprise Systems to lead and oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s administrative technology systems, including ERP systems, intranet, third-party software/APIs, website, and e-commerce applications. This position is the leader of the software and web development teams and is responsible for custom development, integration, quality control, business intelligence, and reporting. This is a hands-on, senior manager position, leading and mentoring a team of multi-discipline IT professionals and developers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Gather business requirements to understand company and user needs and set clear goals, objectives, and timelines for development projects
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new software technologies
  • Identify and resolve gaps between company needs and existing or new software applications
  • Oversee the methods, coding standards and tools for the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and supportable code that meets established requirements
  • Ensure the development teams are responsive to the priorities of the business and deliver on their commitments
  • Maintain relationships with internal departments and outside resources
  • Implement testing and QA management processes and best practices
  • Oversee the management of the full software development lifecycle including version control, implementation, testing, and auditing
  • Create and manage the schedule of application releases
  • Manage risks and resolve issues that affect scope, schedule, and quality of releases
  • Find ways to improve existing software solutions, systems, and processes
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent
  • 10+ years experience leading complex software engineering and architecture initiatives
  • History of delivering innovative system solutions and integrations
  • ERP software experience (Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and adjust priorities based on company needs
  • Experience with website/e-commerce development
  • Experience with PCI compliance
  • Experience supporting data driven decision making with data science skills such as wrangling/munging, analysis, and visualization
  • Experience with CRM software (SalesForce)
  • Experience with AWS cloud environments
  • Experience with information/data architecture
  • Project management experience, PMP certification a plus
  • Knowledge of RFID and other sensor technologies
  • Knowledge of basic UI/UX standards
  • Knowledge of iOS and Android frameworks
