There is an opportunity for a Retail Store Manager in one of our independently owned locations. The Retail Store Manager is responsible for the overall profitability, sales culture and team leadership for the store. As a Retail Store Manager you will:

Your responsibilities include:
- Ability to recognize, attract, hire, and retain the top talent
- Actively coach and lead associates to achieve both individual and store goals
- Weekly Staff meetings
- Manage all store operations
- Communicate the company vision, goals, and strategies to all team members
- Ability to provide customer satisfaction through product knowledge and excellent communication and leadership skills
- Plan and maximize floor presentation and square footage productivity utilizing effective visual merchandising techniques.
- Create and ensure a professional working atmosphere with both supervisors and direct reports
- Execute various sales strategies to ensure overall company revenue goals are met
Job Requirements Retail Store Manager Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 yearsâ experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager
- Home Furnishing experience or Interior Design preferred
- College degree preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced retail setting with multi-tasking focus
- Ability to work various shifts as required including weekends, evenings and holidays as needed
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Basic computer skills required
- High energy with a sense of urgency
- Commitment to continuous improvement
