We currently are seeking a Regional Manager at our Laguna Hills Neighborhood Center. This position is responsible for:

  • Staff development and corrective action issues, managing budgets and participating in creating new budgets, overseeing and managing time keeping for staff, including approving all schedules and work flow of center;
  • Reviewing and possibly approving training schedules for Orientation and Mobility and Low Vision rehabilitation;
  • Implementing care plans for in home services, Low Vision Certified Therapy, Library Services and Connection Pointe Technology Center;
  • Overseeing Educational Programs and supporting implementation of core classes and curriculum and maintaining knowledge of programs and services;
  • Providing on-going evaluation of classes, initiating change and improvements as needed;
  • Overseeing volunteers, instructors and staff;
  • Responsible for quality data collection;
  • Establishing and maintaining business relationships with various community partners;
  • Partnering with Marketing to edit and approve press releases, flyers and related materials;
  • Providing advice and counsel to stakeholders at the center;
  • Working with landlords to address concerns regarding rental space;
  • Working with Development and Associate Vice President on grants and foundation reports as well as processing all donations to the center;

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience;
  • Must have strong communication skills;
  • Organizational leadership and problem-solving skills;
  • Multi-task, developing and implementing a wide variety of educational and enrichment programs for a diverse population of visually impaired;
  • Minimum of two years managing staff;
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred;
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience as an instructor and three or more years of leadership and educational program management strongly preferred.
