The Pharmacy Clinical Advisor Professional 2 (Project Manager) advises and collaborates with cross functional leaders with goals of combining clinical Rx acumen with holistic desired health outcomes. The Pharmacy Clinical Advisor Professional 2 uses financial and other data driven methods to construct value propositions leading to impactful, longer term decisions. Translates information from multiple sources to clearly communicate a compelling clinical, data-driven message to executive-level audiences. Works across multiple departments to execute strategies. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Quality Network Lead-Pharmacy Patient Safety Programs and pharmacies regarding quality network performance and overall patient safety, quality, and Stars opportunities
  • Partner with Quality Network Lead-Pharmacy Patient Safety Programs on the implementation, development, and management of pharmacy programs designed to improving member health and decreasing medical spend for chronic conditions
  • This includes creation of initiative ideas, development of program, completion of business case, vetting of business case through the team, collaboration with Enterprise partners, management of initiation to and through launch
  • Manage relationships with key network quality stakeholders
  • Conducts meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project.
  • Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff to meet project targets and milestones.
  • Responsible for engagement with vendor(s) to ensure timely processes and integrity of Pharmacy Quality Network Program
  • Management of budget for Quality Network-Patient Safety Program

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organization, along with focus on process and quality
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, including with an executive-level audience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing matrixed programs from initial ideation to implementation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Understanding of and experience with CMS Stars Part D performance measures
  • Understanding of metrics, trends and the ability to analyze and identify performance changes
  • Proven organizational and prioritization skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments
  • Background working in quality improvement
