Millennium Corporation is hiring a Lead Scrum Master in Charleston, SC. Candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities
The Lead Scrum Master will serve as a highly organized team leader responsible for leading and managing a team of technical professionals in all aspects of Program Management, Agile, Scrum practices:
- Communicates with both the development team and customer
- Leads and demonstrates value-add principles to a team
- Ensures Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to; must be able to be a voice of reason while enabling the team to self-organize and innovate
- Continually seeks improvements for self, team, and client organization by learning new tools and techniques
- Facilitates discussion, effectively encourages alternatives or different approaches, and engages the team to reach consensus and actionable direction from discussions
- Brings disclosure and transparency about the project to the PM and customer
- Works with Product Owner and team to groom product backlog
- Works with customers and team leads to outline release plans
Qualifications
- Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance
- Experience with project management, agile, scrum, and/or lean principles
- Experience developing schedules and Work Breakdown Structures
- Experience with obtaining and analyzing metrics
- Strong coaching, influencing and communication skills
- A passion for quality and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Experience leading through influence, working closely with development leadership
- Strong experience being a Servant Leader
- Current Scrum industry certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) SAFE practitioner (SP), or equivalent
- 2+ years of IT Team Leader Analyst or Scrum Master experience
- Analyzes and prepares written reports on program and project performance using qualitative analyses, and other project techniques
- Ability to remove barriers from production teams (i.e., development, infrastructure, documentation and escalate issues where appropriate)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project implementation environment
