Under the leadership of the IT Director, the IT Project Manager is responsible for the coordination of resources necessary to ensure successful, on-time completion of complicated deployments. This includes not only infrastructure tasks, but also the creation of new software products. Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a must. The IT Project Manager must be able to focus on business strategy and agility and not on technology for technology sake.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Manage complex projects/programs from design and development to production.
- Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.
- Define resources and schedule for project/program implementation.
- Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
- Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones.
- Manage conflict within group.
- Coordinate with in-hours Business Analysts.
- Efficiently identify and solve project issues.
- Demonstrate leadership to define requirements for project risk.
- Develop Requests for Proposals (RFP) for external services.
- Coordinate with Knowledge Systems Management Specialist.
- Design and maintain technical and project documentation.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing, coordinating and/supporting IT business processes.
- Agile certification highly preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) a plus.
- Familiarity with a variety of technical platforms/methodologies.
- Bachelorâs Degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field.
- Expertise in efficient time management and deadline driven accountabilities.
- Great communication skills.
- Successful track record of managing enterprise software development projects a must.
- Good knowledge of ITIL or ITIL Foundation v3 certification preferred.
