We are currently seeking an experienced and trusted leader to take on the role of Global Head of Digital Solutions reporting to the Managing Director for Wealth Management. This senior level position and the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the wealth management industry including financial services/Fintech. This position is expected to drive the strategic direction, business plan and financial results for the global, Digital Solutions proposition. Results will be accomplished through cross functional collaboration to deliver client and product solutions. This role is expected to be an industry leader, that participates in internal and external speaking engagements to include C-level client engagement.
This individual will continually assess and adjust the business in response to the changing environments through a disciplined effort that produces fundamental decisions and actions that shape and guide the business with a focus on the future.
Role Responsibilities
- Retain & grow our existing data feed business globally; ensure sales, revenue and expense forecasts are accurate and achievable. Be passionate to uncover all the facts and ensure financial targets are sound.
- Determine and deliver appropriate commercials to the large data consumers.
- Partner with leadership to ensure accountability is clear to deliver to agreed milestones and KPIs; be objective to ensure governance is strong and accurate.
- Direct the daily operating activities to ensure business goals are achieved.
- Identify new growth opportunities to develop the long-term strategy for the business, including the product roadmap and evolution of product pricing and the overall commercial model.
- Cost effectively grow our market share in non-core, global markets; develop robust investment cases to acquire the necessary funding for execution of strategy.
- Work closely with Product teams to manage business priorities and successfully execute on the product roadmap.
- Articulation to internal and external stakeholders on the segment strategy and roadmap.
- End-to-end management of proposition on a global basis across all relevant Refinitiv functions.
- Assess whether business goals are best accomplished by building, buying or entering into partnerships.
- Drive in-year revenues by partnering with the Sales and Account Management (SAM) organization and colleagues across adjacent businesses.
- Act as the public face of the leadership of Refinitivâs Digital Solutions Wealth Management business, meet with key clients and participate in industry conferences and events and be the evangelist for Refinitiv.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- The individual will already be acknowledged at industry level as a thought leader and successful business manager. The individual is likely to have 15+ years industry experience and a proven track record as the member of a leadership team in a business with annual revenues in excess of $100mm.
- The individual should possess the ability to understand and interpret fundamental trends within the Wealth Management industry.
- The successful individual will have experience building, developing and leading a team of high performing subject matter experts.
- The individual must be persuasive and influential, possessing well-developed communication, collaboration and presentation skills. The ability to communicate complex concepts to key stakeholders is critical.
- The individual should have superior client management skills, including proven ability to build and manage senior client relationships.
- Experience in quantitative analysis; able to deep dive into the numbers and provide insightful recommendations.
- Intellectual curiosity and drive to improve and remove barriers to achieve results.
- Superb facilitation skills. The ability to get groups of people excited and committed to a new direction.
- Strong rational and emotional intelligence with the ability to win trust and get the best out of people.
