POSITION SUMMARY
Administration and management of CRW’s Diversity and Inclusion (M/W/DBE) Plan. The position will oversee diversity program planning (workforce development, capacity building, establishment of minimum participation levels) and administration including management of program activity and associated enforcement.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS
- Implements and fosters a Minority, Women, and Disadvantaged Business and Outreach program for minority, women, and other disadvantaged owned business enterprises
- Analyzes the scope of work statements of subcontractor agreements, prepares bid advertisements and interviews contractors
- Provides compliance training to CRW contractors and subcontractors
- Coordinates full life cycle of solicitation for bid
- Performs compliance reviews and conducts interviews on an as needed basis
- Investigates sub-contracting violations and prepares reports of investigation
- Monitors discretionary funded construction and Good and Services contracts to ensure equitable opportunities are made to certified local and small businesses.
- Represents CRW at various external meetings, expos, trade shows, etc. which focuses on certified business utilization and contractor compliance issues
- Makes presentations to the Board of Directors as needed
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Communications or another related field and at least three years’ experience in contract compliance and communications; Or commensurate experience and education.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
