In the role of Treasury Director, you are a key leader in a small and nimble treasury team. This position will have broad responsibilities that span across treasury functions and require you to interact with the entire treasury team. This role is based in RTP and will require a self-motivated and proactive individual who has strong communication skills.
Key activities and responsibilities
- Manage worldwide standby letters of credit and bank guarantees
- Responsible for key programs such as stock repurchase, commercial paper, dividend, debt, and other key programs
- Oversee treasury’s role in NetApp’s leasing program (where NetApp is a lessee). Partner with internal and external stakeholders, perform economic analysis, review documentation and execute on transactions
- Monitor company’s outside investment managers and in-house portfolio to ensure adherence to the company’s investment policy
- Oversee accounting for the investment portfolio
- Lead administration and access control for various banking portals
- Partner with Treasury Operations on activities relating to the corporate banking structure (bank account management)
- Oversee processes related to month-end and quarter-end close, variance analysis, reconciliations, and reporting
- Lead ad hoc analysis as needed
- Effective business partnering skills and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to present ideas and concepts clearly to peers and senior management
- Broad conceptual judgment, initiative and ability to deal with complex and ambiguous situations
- Intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset
- Strong leadership skills to manage Capital Markets Treasury team and collaborate with other leaders within Finance and across NetApp.
- Familiarity with US GAAP
- This position requires a university degree in finance, accounting, or economics (or demonstrated equivalent experience)
- At least 10 years of corporate treasury/finance experience
