StoneMor Partners is conducting a search for a Director of Procurement to join our Corporate Operations Team!
The Procurement Director is responsible for: driving company profitability through strategic supply chain optimization; managing and improving all aspects of direct and indirect supplier procurement; increasing customer satisfaction through enhanced product line management.

Responsibilities:
- Continuously improve the level of customer satisfaction by improving customer selection, assortment, price and quality.
- Create a culture of procurement excellence establishing the procurement function as a strategic, responsible partner for procurement of all materials and services across StoneMor. Function as the subject matter expert, viewed as the strategic sourcing and negotiation authority sought out by business leaders to support large scale and ongoing negotiations for purchases of direct and indirect products and services.
- Develop and execute a detailed spend analysis and procurement plan for the entire company – planning for large contracts while improving location level purchasing processes. Track financial results, implementation and supplier performance; identify gaps and variances in performance and make adjustments to restore performance to plan.
- Oversee the logistics network to ensure an efficient, timely and cost-effective flow of goods throughout the supply chain from vendor to location.
- Assess and assist in upgrading the supply chain (vendors, people and agreements) to achieve growth and profit requirements (i.e. reduced cost, improved quality, shorter production/delivery times)
- Partner with P&L Owners and Finance to develop target financial goals and results, manage supplier performance to meet defined business requirements and develop procurement talent across multiple functions. Measure the effectiveness of technology and training programs that continue to develop procurement capabilities.
- Collaborate with critical stakeholders to identify and deliver sustainable, profitable purchasing programs.
- Plan and direct policies and procedures for the purchasing of the company’s goods and services while ensuring compliance to applicable laws and regulations.
- Lead and direct the work of other staff members and direct reports.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- 10+ years of experience with a diverse background (including: strong managerial, business and technical education, supply chain, planning and logistics experience and skills)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, accounting or related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in procurement, logistics, purchasing or related field with a minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and personnel management.

- Demonstrated ability to prepare and present PowerPoint presentations to senior management.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with Coupa or other Business Spend Management Software preferred.
- Ability to understand and use computer software that the department uses.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
