The Department of Information Technology invites resumes for a full-time, exempt position with full benefits. The Director must be a hands on customer focused professional. The Director will report to the Chief Information Officer.
- Manages campus teams that support classroom technology, web development, networking, telecommunications, customer support, systems administration, IT security, and the data center.
- Works collaboratively with administrative computing to provide software systems support and services to the campus.
- Sets priorities within the IT group.
- Provides significant input in strategic planning and budget management.
- Provide backup support for IT security and prepares responses for external audits.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelorâs degree in information technology, computer science, or other related field.
- Seven progressively responsible experience in information technology.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a large group.
- Budget and project management experience.
- Masterâs degree.
- Experience in higher education.
Significant knowledge of networking, telephony, IT security, IT customer and systems support; strong communication skills to include written communication skills; strong commitment to higher education; and skills in problem solving. Must have strong customer support commitment.
