Position Title: Director, Talent Acquisition – Executive Search
Location: Atlanta, GA
Reports to: VP, Talent
The Director, Talent Acquisition Executive Search is responsible for developing and leading a premier Executive Search capability at Newell Brands. S/he will be focused on developing and executing global strategies to attract, engage and hire a diverse, highly-qualified and culturally-aligned executive employee base across the globe.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of searches for executive roles within Newell Brands.
- Proactively manage the recruiting process by understanding talent selection and attraction challenges, as well as business priorities.
- Develop comprehensive talent sourcing strategies to build diverse talent pools and pipelines including identifying and building partnerships with external vendors
- Host executive candidates throughout the interview process ensuring they have an exceptional candidate experience
- Partner with senior business leaders and senior HR leaders to understand business strategies, organizational plans and talent landscape
- Develops talent strategies to meet current and future executive staffing needs
- Leads all phases of sourcing, recruiting and offer process for executive level positions
- Applies an in-depth understanding of company and competitive intelligence, organizational structures and compensation practices to drive effective talent engagement and acquisition
- Cultivates and sustains effective working relationships across the company
- Enable effective movement of internal executive talent by focusing on continuously improving the experience associated with the internal candidate process.
- Build and foster an employment brand that attracts key executive talent.
- Provide effective talent-related decision support through the use of timely and meaningful data, analysis, metrics and dashboards.
- Demonstrate managerial courage and provide timely and actionable constructive feedback while working with the HR Business Partners and hiring managers.
- Drives continuous improvement across the global Talent Acquisition Executive Search function.
The successful candidate will be a proven business leader with deep experience recruiting for diverse roles in a complex global company. S/he will have a proven track record of building and driving successful talent strategies and processes that clearly support the objectives of the business. The successful candidate must have both strong strategic capabilities as well as be hands-on and comfortable with tactical execution.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- 8-10 years of full cycle, executive level (VP+) recruiting experience with candidate generation skills, networking/relationship building skills and ability to source candidates
- Able to work independently in a dynamic environment of change, challenge and multiple deadlines/priorities
- Experience in managing Executive Talent Acquisition either in a Corporate function or as part of a Retained Executive Search Firm
- Demonstrated track record of effectively coaching and serving the talent solution needs of multiple C-level executives at one time.
- Ability to analyze and assess organizational needs and provide solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interpersonal savvy.
- Strong planning & organizing skills.
