What will I be doing?

As Director, Contract Administration, you will be responsible for managing sales contracting oversight with an emphasis on developing template and strategic account contracts. In this role, you will partner with account managers within Hilton Worldwide Sales, Legal counsel, and Hilton Hotels to expedite and simplify the contracting process for the sales operation and for our customers.
As the Director, you will lead all aspects of the development and finalization of Hilton contracts for critical accounts and initiatives.

- Ability to effectively work with hotels, employees and customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and set appropriate trace systems to track projects and work; completes assignments on time or advises in advance of any delays
- Ability to access and accurately input information using computer word processing, database, internet and/or spreadsheet program, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, access, Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator and email
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with minimal supervision
- Self-starter, very organized, extremely detailed and bold at times, willing to take ownership of responsibilities, and possess a high level of positive energy and seek to motivate others
- Works collaboratively with attorneys in a corporate setting
- Works may include some communication outside (before or after) traditional business hours due to responsibility for liaison to hotels in other regions and time zones around the world
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
- Seven (7) years professional work experience, managing a high volume of work flow
- Five (5) years hospitality management experience
- Three (3) years’ experience preparing and interpreting legal contracts
- Project management experience
- Proficiency with reading, listening and communicating effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, in order to converse on the telephone and prepare formal and informal correspondence
It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Background in sales contracting and large hotel group sales
- Director of Sales/Revenue Management, or Contract Management experience
- Legal experience
