As the Director of Clinical Resources, you will be responsible for working with the Division Supply Chain Team to implement the strategic direction of Supply Cost management within the assigned facilities. This will include reviewing and optimizing the current GPO contract portfolio, developing and executing product standardization, and building strategic alliances with Surgery Center and Supply Chain leadership and staff.
What you will do in this role:
- Develop and implement product standardization and utilization in cooperation with facility Materials Manager and Leadership
- Develop and implement programs to reduce the number of SKUs by standardization, increase product quality, evaluate processes and introduce new products.
- Develop and implement continuous quality improvement process regarding supply/labor practices and recommends cost reductions.
- Actively interacts with the clinicians performing the departmental tasks to identify improvement opportunities
- Maintain and communicates financial and performance measurements as gauge of standardization/utilization success.
- Measure and continuously verifies process improvements and cost savings.
Travel: Monthly travel to assigned facilities within market.
Qualifications
What qualifications you will need:
- Current RN license is required
- Min of five (5) years of RN experience in acute care and/or ambulatory surgery setting is required.
- Bachelorâs degree preferred
- Materials Management and/or surgery experience preferred
