Business Continuity Manager
Location: Chicago, IL
Cortland* Part of Alter Domus Group is currently seeking a new Business Continuity Manager to join our Legal team at our Chicago, IL office.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Identify all business continuity interested parties’ requirements including legal, regulatory, customers and any other requirements to be considered in the Business Continuity Management System;
- Perform risk assessments, business impact analyses, strategy selection, and documentation of Business Continuity procedures for all offices in North America;
- Develop all necessary Business Continuity training material and manage the training of all Business Continuity staff in coordination with the HR department;
- Plan, conduct and debrief regular Business Continuity exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies, updating procedures regularly, plans and crisis alerting systems;
- Act as Emergency and Crisis Management team member in North America for any disruptive incidents and escalate to management;
- Develop, update and maintain Business Continuity Management System KPIs for North America;
- Conduct periodic reviews of the existing Business Continuity Plans and make necessary suggestions and recommendations to the Group Business Continuity plan head and top-level management; and
- Obtain ISO 22301 certification by end of 2020 for all AD offices located in North America.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree;
- 3-5 years of working experience in Business Continuity Management;
- Good knowledge of the ISO 22301 standard;
- Comprehensive knowledge of managing projects;
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools; and
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present clearly technical Business Continuity concepts to any office.
