We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager for our 100+ unit property in High Point, NC. The assistant manager will run day to day operations of the property in absence of the manager. You must have at least 1-2 years of apartment experience, as a leasing consultant or as assistant property manager. You will work with the regional manager on a daily basis. We are looking for someone that is willing to learn and grow in responsibility.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Maintain positive working relationship with residents
· Schedule work order requests in a timely manner
· Manage the collection of rent and submit notices as required
· Assist with lease renewals and make recommendations on marketing strategies to generate traffic
· Physically walk and inspect property on a daily basis, checks on vacant apartments
· Assist in the handling of resident service request and various concerns as required
· Suggest any improvements to the property, marketing, etc. that can improve residents quality of living
· Ensure property is clean and well maintained
Requirements:
· Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a rental community
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organizational skills with exceptional focus on detail
· Proficient in computer software including but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
