JOB TITLE: Sr. Vice President & General Manager – Nalco Water Global Light

JOB DUTIES: Sr. Vice President & General Manager – Nalco Water Global Light for Ecolab, Inc. at its facility in Naperville, IL. The Senior Vice President and General Manager – Nalco Water Global Light will serve on the lead executive team with Ecolab, and will be the lead executive position responsible for developing and implementing the global business strategies and objectives required to aggressively promote Nalco’s growth and profitability. Seeks out potential business acquisitions, corporate alliances, and joint ventures on a global basis and serve as the interface with the operating company staff and external advisors to create business opportunities. Works with the presidents and other regional leaders in developing business strategies for specific/targeted geographic regions, such as the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region; devises and implements global strategies that will focus on doubling the size and profitability; determines comprehensive strategies to capitalize on market opportunities aligned to our strategic intent on expanding our global water conservation footprint and growth; collaborates with each business unit to develop strategic plans, identifies the leading practices in strategy development and introduces and ensures implementation across all businesses; and represents Nalco Water to major global and local customers and provide support for sales and marketing. Works closely with the five sector Presidents to implement our strategic global and industry based expansion efforts and other business initiative. Part of the Nalco Water leadership team and takes part in all major decision making and strategy development.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) AND a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, or foreign equivalent and experience must include 10 years post-bachelor’s progressive experience in all of the following: Managing Commercial Profit & Loss in the petroleum products industry; Petroleum product manufacturing, sales, distribution and branding; Launching new products to a global market; Developing global business strategies and objectives to promote business growth; and Working on global multi-billion dollar commercial ventures. More than 50% Domestic and International Travel Required.
