SUMMARY
The Senior CRM IT Program Manager is a key role in the effective delivery of ANSYS’s CRM technology portfolio. The scope of responsibility will span all strategic CRM business application portfolios within IT, including Salesforce.com and Web. This will include both direct project and program management of assigned areas (Sales, Service, Marketing), as well as program wide project methodology enforcement for Agile Scrum.
Senior Program Manager responsibilities include actively planning various aspects of the portfolio including: harmonizing its project and program components; managing their interdependencies, resource availability, budget allocation, and project sequencing; managing cross functional teams, including IT, Business and Partner resources; all to best meet business commitments against our operational constraints.
Overall program Agile methodology adoption and enforcement includes coaching and direction to all CRM Program team members on the tools, techniques and ceremonies related to Agile Scrum project and daily task management. Responsibilities include promoting and managing Agile processes, leading the scrum team, and facilitating daily meetings, and coaching and directing more junior scrum masters on larger programs, including both internal IT and external implementation partner PMs and Scrum Masters. The Senior CRM Program Manager will work collaboratively with the respective CRM Business Product Owners, IT Development Leads, and (when applicable) the integration partner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable to business sponsors for schedule, budget, and quality of all CRM program elements within scope.
- Communicates status to stakeholders, and directly facilitates resolution of major issues.
- Work closely with IT Leadership Team to proactively define plans and metrics for continued Program implementation and Agile adoption.
- Work with CRM (Sales, Marketing, Service) Business Leaders and business partners to contribute to strategic project/program decisions and ensure that projects are delivering the expected business outcomes.
- Directly facilitate program steering committee meetings and conduct periodic briefings/status updates to various levels of the organization for CRM Implementation Program.
- Provides overall leadership and management of programs and projects across multiple functional areas .
- Guides, coaches and motivates their own Scrum teams as well as coach more junior PMs and Scrum Masters on effectively adopting Agile; accountable for continuous improvement of the Agile practices for Scrum within the CRM Program.
- Accountable for ensuring adherence to all CRM Scrum ceremonies: Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, daily stand-up, Sprint Review (demo), and Sprint Retrospective.
- Collaborates with business and IT teams to define epics and backlogs of individual user stories, both for initial project implementations as well as on-going support.
- Monitors appropriate program and project metrics for burn-down, sprint capacity, and delivery.
- Sets performance objectives and incorporates feedback from team and organization for continuous improvement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 9 years of IT leadership experience setting priorities and driving for results
- A minimum of 6 years of project manager experience leading cross-functional projects
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master or equivalent role within an Agile team
- Experience with implementing commercial software packages (CRM, ERP, and/or HRIS)
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Product Owner (CSPO)
- Demonstrated leadership in, and understanding of, project management and Agile concepts, processes, practices, procedures and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to combine attention to detail with big picture perspective
- Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including executive management, functional experts, and IT team members
- Experience leading global teams comprised of Business, IT and third-party Implementation Partners
- Proficient with project management and Agile tools, preferably Microsoft TFS
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision while directing a broad team of resources
- Must be able to think creatively and possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven track record of consistently meeting goals and objectives
- Experience working with information technology vendors / suppliers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering preferred
- PMP, Six Sigma, Change Management training and certification desired
- Experience deploying Salesforce.com, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Marketing Cloud/Pardot
- Experience implementing Web based applications
- Proactively plans for managing and mitigating project risks
- Able to communicate technical issues in a non-technical manner to a diverse audience
