REGIONAL ENGINEERING DIRECTOR
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for developing and/or advancing ISS Technical Services Program across the region – ensuring that the tools, processes, and talent are deployed across all accounts and to all sites within the Americas Region. Leader in ensuring our Technical Services materials and evidence are in place and kept up to date and used within the industry to demonstrate ISS Technical Services Capabilities

You report within the Americas Center of Excellence and report to a Segment Excellence Leader
PRINCIPLE DUTIES

Driving vision & purpose of our technical services offering across many clients and many geographies

Improving on existing best practices and developing improved best practices and deploying to the operators in the field

Leading ISS strategy for growing our technical services capabilities, from the tools and process to the marketing and collateral.

Developing critical KPIs to use in measuring our technical services performance across the geography – and creating business intelligence collateral for both internal and client decision makers
- Identifying gaps in our current technical services capabilities, strategy, and collateral – growing the program to a complimentary part of ISS serviced to a best in class technical services capability
- You are the link between our operators on clients sites across the region and our engineering program and delivery model
- Identify the training needs within the organization at different levels and design, implement and evaluate the various initiatives based on this.
- Analyse, advise and make proposals in the field of engineering with the aim of ensuring that the capacities and competences of the entire ISS organization are in line with strategic developments.
- From expertise, make recommendations to BU leaders for more efficient engineering operations that may result in higher operational performance, improve financial performance, or a safer operating environment for out teams
- Be a leader in innovation within the organization, constantly looking for new and improved ways of delivering our technical services program to our client sites via technology or other means
- Use expertise to help grow our business by working with ISS BD team to present our program and demonstrate our capabilities to new and existing client stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 10 years’ experience as a professional engineer or other engineering leadership role

Affinity with / knowledge of service organizations

Translating business objectives and strategies into an operational program

Developing HSE requirements for all engineering roles within an organization

Is an experienced and driven program manager who implements as well as activates
-
Is a sparring partner at all levels within an organization

Have good analytical skills, which means that you have to switch quickly and develop reports
-
Is result-oriented, driven and know how to use your network to make the right connections
-
Has led in a matrix organization where leading by influence was equally important to leading by authority

Ability to challenge others in a professional manner, with the motivation being a better overall product

Have a Bachelor or University degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration – experience may be substitute for education requirements
