MPIRE Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to support our DoD client in Falls Church, VA. The candidate will manage, track and evaluate the project and associated tasks for performance and deliverables. Candidate will be part of a team providing production O&M support services for several user-facing applications.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for creating/maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Interfaces with all areas affected by the applications including end users, internal/external sources and stakeholders.
  • Works with program leadership to define project scope and objectives.
  • Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
  • Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
  • Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.
  • Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
  • Performs all functional duties independently.
  • Works on high-visibility programs, or mission critical aspects of assigned program(s).
  • Oversees the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or is responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years’ experience Project Management.
  • Must possess experience in developing project and program budgets, delivery schedules, management guidelines, procedures, program management plans, supporting assets, and related metrics.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Expert Level Experience in Microsoft Project.

Nice to have:

  • PMP Certification
  • Scrum Agile Certification
  • ITIL Certification

Experience: Intermediate Level (7+ years)

Education: BA/BS in computer science or related field
