Secret Clearance Required
Duties: Services, repairs, and overhauls aircraft avionics systems to ensure airworthiness. Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft avionics systems, such as comm/nav, attack, instruments and flight control systems. Determines feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components and assist with Periodic Inspections. Replaces or repairs worn or damaged components. Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationships of circuits.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS/INFO: Candidate must be a high school graduate or have completed an equivalent program. Candidate must have held a USAF skill level 7 (or equivalent) in his career field. Candidate must have at least 3 yearsâ experience with F-16 aircraft maintenance activities. Progressive and documented experience in the fighter aircraft maintenance environment. Documented qualifications in related maintenance fields.

Min 3 years documented experience on the F-16 Aircraft
Perform routine system troubleshooting, installation and repair.
Aircraft Mechanic / Aircraft craftsman A&P Lic.
Have a working knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and components on the F-16 aircraft at the organizational level of maintenance.
Ground handling, minor maintenance, and servicing
Previous experience setting up maintenance work areas
A strong understanding of the maintenance process
