President/Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Directors of Coastal Community F.C.U located in Galveston, Texas, seeks a highly qualified, experienced and educated individual to assume the duties of President/CEO. Our organization is a well-capitalized, full-serviced financial institution, with assets of $69,203,955.00 and three (3) branches, serving the Galveston County community.

This individual will be responsible for directing the overall operation of the credit union, with the objective of ensuring financial stability commensurate with the best interest of the members; and establishing short-term and long- range objectives, plans and policies subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.

The ideal candidate will be service oriented and a visionary possess strong business acumen and the ability to prudently make decisions, have a thorough understanding of the credit union operations and regulations and be ready to represent the credit union within the community. At least five (5) years executive experience as a CEO or second in command of a credit union or financial institution, a bachelor’s degree or graduate of CUNA Management School and CPA or MBA preferred.
