Summary:

Manage the overall distribution, sales and profitability of Perfetti Van Melle portfolio in tier 1 National Convenience Store Chains primarily West of the Mississippi River.

Develop, and execute an achievable business plan to maximize the growth of Perfetti Van Melle within the Convenience Channel, while managing the trade spend to a profitable level as set by channel leaders.

Manage and develop our relationship within the Trade Customer Base assigned as well as the Broker Network contracted to represent Perfetti Van Melle within the assigned accounts.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Execute Volume plans via strategic acct planning and DSMP goals.

2. Establish and execute key personal goals of growth in relationship building in each Account assigned.

3. Admin (Blue Planner, Vistex, MT, T-Pro, BI) Track and analyze plans and customer status in all account base.

4. Effectively communicate internally/externally any opportunities, challenges as well as future strategies within assigned account base

5. Manage and develop Broker Partner effectiveness


Qualifications

Qualifications:

10-15 years sales experience both retail and wholesale

Additional 3-5 years of national account experience

Bachelor’s degree required

Ability and willingness to travel 75%

Management and leadership experience

Analytical/interpretive skills of industry/company/account data

Strong Word/Excel/and PowerPoint skills

Ability to learn new Business applications (Software & Platforms)

Demonstrate ability to create, execute, and communicate account plans

Ability to work effectively across multiple functions inside a customer—Buyer – Merchandising, Supply Chain – Operations

Excellent communication skills, both verbal/written with internal/external contacts

Organizational agility / getting things done through others

Proven ability to achieve revenue, profitability and budgeted targets

Highly organized and structured

Analytical skills focused on interpreting syndicated data (IRI-Nielson)
