Position Info
The Managing Director, Acquisitions & Asset Management will have oversight of the full lifecycle of an asset-from sourcing to disposition-within our multifamily vertical as well as oversight responsibilities of a team of Directors, Associates, and Analysts in executing the group’s business plan and will report to the Chief Investment Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute on strategy at an executive level
- Final review and sign off on deals within our multifamily vertical with the ability to do direct underwriting.
- Review market data and play a key role in determining key assumptions, including timing, costs, rents, operating budgets, leverage, cap rates, etc
- Originate multifamily deals through personal contacts in the industry and through strategic outreach
- Oversight of due diligence process on deals
- Maintain performance of multifamily assets while under ownership and determine timing of disposition
- Enhance work processes in a quickly-growing group
- Play an active role with Bridge’s multifamily investment committee, presenting in investment committee meetings and strategic discussions with executives/partners
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience managing multifamily acquisition deals
- Master’s degree in a real estate program highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience managing a business or departments organizational strategy
- Excellent client relationship ability
- Keen analytical and financial modeling capabilities, with excellent Excel skills
- Strong writing and organizational skills
- Experience managing relationships with joint venture partners and brokers
- Strong multifamily industry relationships and ties
