We are currently looking for an experienced Manager of Managed Services to join our growing team! The Manager will be responsible for the overall day to day operations of the organizations cloud infrastructure and its security. The Manager will take leadership of building and configuring new environments, documenting operational procedures, configuring build and deploy pipelines, data backups and recovery, monitoring application health and performance and lead efforts around cloud design and service implementation.


The ideal candidate will be able to understand both application and infrastructure requirements and develop solutions that meet in the middle. The Manager must possess strong communication skills be able to disseminate strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

As the owner of Production Support and DevOps, the Manager will become an expert in our software products and provide hands on production support for platform, data and application process issues.

Implement appropriate monitoring tools and process to ensure optimal system performance

Oversee the creation of platform performance standards and continuous improvement

Develop training plans for staff to ensure proper growth that support practice objectives

Deep knowledge and experience with the following ir highly preferred:

Azure Cloud Services

ITIL process management and experience with the Service Now ITSM platform

Dev Ops and deployment best practices including automated deployment

Change and Release Management

Understanding of Web Application Architectures

Infrastructure components including: Load Balancers, Network and Web Application Firewalls

Network design and architecture


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish, deliver and administer service, support and operational governance
  • Lead Service Delivery and ensure customer SLAs are met
  • Support Business Development initiatives including RFP response generation
  • Develop service catalog and effective service and support delivery processes
  • Manage and mentor team of infrastructure/cloud, network, EUC and Security Engineers
  • Architect transition plans to “lift and shift” critical applications and servers to robust cloud environments
  • Leverages new and existing tools to identify and re-mediate risk and increase efficiency of systems and services to users
  • Leads the client cloud and infrastructure hosting strategy post transition
  • Oversees management and monitoring of the global cloud, data center and regional hub platforms
  • Manage and maintain Change Control policies and process
  • Develop and optimize DevOps and software deployment processes and procedures to ensure consistent, accurate and efficient deployments
  • Manage and maintain Release Management policies and process
  • Develop and optimize DevOps and software deployment processes and procedures to ensure consistent, accurate and efficient deployments

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of hands on, progressive technology operations experience in a product, services and technology-rich environment
  • Experience building and supporting highly performant large scale software platforms
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment
  • Experience managing engineers/architects (systems, DBA, DevOps, network, etc.)
  • Experience managing DevOps/Prod Support and running Infrastructure services and operations
  • Experience with CI/CD deployment environments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to clearly articulate opinions, recommendations, and deliver difficult messages internally and external
  • Ability to build a consistent and fun customer service culture
