      SUMMARY OF PURPOSE
      The Henry Ford is launching inHub, a global resource and community for activating an innovative mindset, using content and stories from America’s primary source for invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

      The Manager, inHub Marketing is responsible for the overall marketing and promotion strategy The Henry Ford’s inHub business vertical. Strategies will build awareness, consideration, participation, and usage of the inHub’s growing suite of learning products and resources globally, that currently include Model i learning framework and Primer, Innovate Curriculum, Invention Convention Worldwide, Field Trips, professional development (educator and corporate), and the Initiative for Entrepreneurship, all to support The Henry Ford’s strategic plan and vision to be a global force in innovation, invention, and entrepreneurship.

      This includes development and execution of short and long-term strategic marketing plans, which effectively support the goals established for inHub products and services.

      This position reports to the Chief Marketing and Digital Officer.

      ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

      • Develops and executes Annual inHub Marketing Plan which supports innovation learning business plans and goals. The plan should be innovative with well-defined objectives, strategies and tactics that will help build the inHub brand and national awareness, create consideration and participation in its programs and associated revenue opportunities, and clearly position the various products and program initiatives within the minds of our target audiences.
      • Directs and project manages all inHub marketing activity, including advertising, direct and digital marketing, event marketing, collateral, trade show and conference strategy, and activation. Works with internal resources and agency partners to develop brand-aligned creative and strategic marketing that distinguish us in the minds of our target audience. Media plans should include very targeted and defined strategies that are creative and make the most effective use of our dollars. The production process should be cost-effective and achieve optimal results.
      • Work with stakeholders on developing inHub message strategy and integration that furthers the inHub marketing platform as part of the larger institutional strategy.
      • Connect and engage target audiences with inHub products, programs, and services through relevant marketing and communications that ultimately grow revenues through data-driven marketing and brand engagement.
      • Supports the development needs of strategic inHub partnerships with outside businesses and community organizations that support the InHub strategic plan and assists in building the brand, awareness, and new revenue opportunities.
      • Responsible for directing and overseeing the goals, tracking, and communication of inHub marketing activities to appropriate management and team leaders.
      • Develops and maintains the inHub marketing department budgets, and plans.
      • In collaboration with BIRA team and others, establish inHub metrics through Research plans to support inHub awareness and revenue goals. In addition, directs the examination and analysis of statistical data as it relates to market conditions, competitors, marketing positioning, pricing, and product development.
      • Translates strategic goals and plans into actionable objectives, strategies, and results.
      • Acts as a team player and provides expertise within the team and with other teams as appropriate.
      • Performs other activities as necessary.
      • Contributes to the effective team management of all problems, issues, and opportunities

      MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
      Bachelor’s Degree and 5-10 years’ demonstrated experience in marketing and sales environment. Ability to travel locally, statewide, nationally, and internationally. Must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary.

      Must communicate persuasively and clearly with an understanding of the marketing and sales processes. Must be a team leader and player with enthusiasm to reach acceptable solutions and courses of action. Must have a commitment to high standards, integrity, and ethics. Ability to handle multiple task management a must.
