As a Client Operations Leader you will provide operational leadership for the development, design, and optimization of information system platforms. You will direct onsite teams that develop, design, and optimize information system and technical platforms while also directing the assessment, design and implementation of new systems and equipment. As a leader on this team, you will develop and implement information technology operating procedures and manage relationships with key client and Cerner stakeholders while establishing and maintaining effective lines of communication and leadership. Direct management will include oversight of multiple teams across the business leading both other managers and individual contributors. You will assist in contract negations and 3rd party relationships. In addition, you will engage technology communities across Cerner and ITWorks sites to improve service, processes, and quality.

Your people management responsibilities will include managing routine associate situations while directing the work efforts and results of a team of associates and several managers. You will develop associates and leaders through coaching performance, completing performance reviews, goal setting and development planning. In addition, you will need to have a direct leadership role in developing team goals and managing them for results while promoting diversity and creating a respectful work environment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • At least 7 years of operational leadership and project management work experience
  • At least 5 years of clinical, health care or information systems management work experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading a large team
