The primary purpose of the Vice President, Managed Services role is to oversee the activities of 3-5 Managed Services accounts and participates in the selling process for new accounts.
Or at very large accounts leads the planning and coordination of healthcare IT programs including gathering requirements and planning for systems selection, system design, testing implementation, systems integration, training and system maintenance for client hospitals. May function as CIO of client hospital.
Responsibilities

New account sales and start up.MS Over profitability and margin contribution for several MS accounts. Effective and efficient IT services which meet the needs of client hospital.

Account profitability which meet revenue and margin requirements set at the corporate level Effective management of the client relationship and resolution of client issues.

Continuous risk management.

Effective utilization and management of staff such that milestones/goals are obtained and staff is motivated and competent.
- Identify and recruit internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competencies.
- Induct new joiners in order to quickly maximize performance.
- Set and communicate team/individual objectives and KPI to inspire individuals to achieve high performance.
- Allocate work load to fully utilize every employeeâs talent.
- Implement development plans and coach for individuals to reach their maximum talent.
- Provide regular constructive feedback on performance/development and address poor/mediocre performance on a timely manner.
- Recognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talent.
- Regularly communicate on company news and team progress against business plan.
- Create team spirit.
Qualifications
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
- BS Degree
Experience:
- 5-7 years experience in Healthcare Information Technology
- 5-10 years experience in Information Technology Management
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills, operational development and management
- Experience planning, leading and managing enterprise, complex Health IT programs and complicated IT mergers and acquisitions
- IT services innovation and transformation experience
- Excellent client facing skills with the ability to thrive in highly critical, fast paced environment
Travel Requirements:

- frequency 50% travel may be required
Working Arrangements:
