Job Description: Premier, state-of-the-art direct mail and commercial printing company in NJ seeks to hire an experienced Mailroom Manager to ensure high quality, cost effective mailing solutions for their clients. Responsibilities include: Lead and direct a busy 2 shift mailing operation with 10+ f/t employees. Administer and manage scheduling systems for all data processing and mail projects. Work with production managers, customer service, sales and planners on mail requirements and job updates. Responsible for all department equipment maintenance and upkeep on inserting, inkjetting, sealing, and lasering operations and data processing software. Manage data processing procedures and schedules. Costs associated with mailing department. Prepare data processing instructions for complex direct mail jobs. Professionally interact with external and internal clients. Qualifications include: Minimum 5 years’ experience mailroom management experience including lettershop, postal and mail logistics. Knowledgeable in all aspects of mailing and postal related services. Experience with bid processes for envelopes, sheetfed and web fed forms, inserts, lettershop and other direct mail products. Creative problem solving skills. Solid communication skills. Strong leadership and mentoring skills. Able to multi-task in a busy manufacturing environment. 5 years’ experience buying direct mail and commercial printing. Proficient on MS Office software, with a focus on Excel. Bachelor’s Degree a plus.
