As a senior project manager and IT professional, you will act as the project owner for a multitude of diverse, global projects and M&A activities. This role will have a background in business and IT, with strong experience in enterprise applications. The senior project manager will need to interact with executive business leaders and articulate project parameters and key performance indicators. Responsibilities that may be requested include:
  • Lead and manage global project teams through all project phases from inception to closure across a diverse enterprise
  • Interface and coordinate with other functional groups, stakeholders and business leaders
  • Create, maintain and own project schedules, risk logs, issue logs and actions associated with specified projects
  • Develop, manage and report on project budgets
  • Weekly and monthly leadership reporting on project KPIs
  • Work with strategic suppliers for sourcing project needs. Review and approve supplier invoices
  • Communicate with project sponsors, stakeholders and team members on all facets of a project
  • Host global meetings, documenting notes and follow-up actions
  • Mentor project managers in the Project & Portfolio Management Organization and project team members
  • Support the Project & Portfolio Management Organization in continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience as an IT project manager or IT leader
  • 7+ years’ experience managing enterprise application and software development projects
  • Project management expertise in merger & acquisition activities
  • Ability to complete large scale enterprise projects on time, on budget and with a high degree of quality
  • Excellent communication, organization, time-management and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
