The Intern Program Manager is critical to the success of the program. Key Programs
  • Summer Internship Programs – ten-week internship experience that provides a real-world view into working at JPMorgan Chase and serves as the primary pipeline for full-time Analyst Program hiring.
  • Academic Internship Programs (as applicable) – An extension of our summer internship program; participants continue to develop and add value at the firm during the academic year.
Program Strategy & Execution Responsibilities
  • Drive the tactical execution for firmwide Summer Internship Programs and initiatives
  • Partner with business representatives to formulate effective summer intern programming strategies across US locations
  • Drive intern program agenda across all campus programs
  • Lead project groups and workstreams focused on ensuring exceptional candidate experience for interns throughout the summer internship experience
  • Support intern evaluation and selection process – leading to decisions on full-time offers to interns
  • Support the end-to-end summer intern experience including placement, manager training, orientation, performance management, and educational and networking programming
  • Provide support, mentorship and guidance for individual interns during the course of the summer as appropriate
  • Ensure intern managers complete and are consistent in mid-summer and end of summer reviews
  • Take primary responsibility for ensuring an exceptional experience for interns throughout the summer internship; success will be measured on conversion rate to following year’s class
  • Manage Academic Intern Program including performance management, educational and networking programming
  • Execute sell strategies with recruiters and hiring managers
  • Provide LOB-specific Program Management teams with conversion offeree interests to assist with full-time placement as applicable
  • Provide administration and logistical support as needed

Relationship& Resource Management Responsibilities
  • Advise recruiters on intern program objectives, candidate competencies, and overall strategy
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal LOB-specific Program Management teams, hiring managers, and key stakeholders
  • Ensure proper visibility of the intern program with management and other key constituents
  • Provide executives and key stakeholders with ongoing program updates
  • Work with recruiters and key stakeholders to advise on equitable placement process for interns
  • Proactively partner with executives and managers to educate them about the intern program
  • Develop and contribute to processes for evaluating intern hiring needs/demand
  • Participate in and lead program-wide initiatives including process re-engineering, communication strategy, intern role review, manager effectiveness, and intern/manager surveys
  • Maintain strong relationships with campus recruiters and assist with attraction and sell of intern offerees and conversion offerees
  • Develop presentations for managers and other stakeholders

Data Analysis Responsibilities
  • Measure experience success metrics and conversions for management review
  • Data mine and produce reporting for key program metrics
  • Seek out opportunities to obtain external benchmark data and share best practices on campus recruiting and internship programming


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and more than 3 years of campus recruiting, or program management experience; ideal candidate has worked with early career professionals
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and manage small to mid-scale projects
  • Strong and demonstrated focus on customer or candidate experience
  • High standards and attention to detail
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills; data analysis ability a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extremely flexible and adaptable to a fast paced work environment
  • Passion for working with and assessing early career talent
  • Knowledge of financial services a plus
  • Some travel required during peak seasons (typically spring and summer)
