Role and Responsibilities The Fleet Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a strategic fleet management program for the organization. The Fleet Manager will lead the effort to improve our fleet/equipment utilization and maintenance availability.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Duties
Manage fleet vehicle servicing, preventative maintenance, and inspection
Maintain detailed service records of all vehicles
Manage registration, licensing and permitting for all vehicles in the fleet through ARI
Manage relationship and contracts with ARI fleet software
Assist with the planning, process, and execution vehicle purchase and vehicle replacement schedule
Ensure fleet availability to meet all scheduled forecasted customer volume
Manage fleet fueling program developing strategies for greater fuel efficiency
Utilize in-cab GPS system to monitor and manage fleet location
Oversee International Fuel Tax Agreement IFTA and International Registration Plan IPR reporting programs
Collaborate with Safety Manager in the oversight of in-cab camera program
Oversee Electronic Logging Device ELD program ensuring proper execution and compliance
Collaborate with Safety Manager on Driver Training and record retention
Comply with US Department of Transportation DOT Laws
Establish pre & post vehicle inspection program with evaluation processes to ensure proper execution and compliance
Monitor and maintain favorable CSA score with assistance of Safety Manager
Manage company EZ Pass account
Respond to vehicle accidents with assistance of Safety Manager
Create and maintain analysis dashboards of fleet data for monthly SR Leadership reporting
Performs additional duties as needed

Education and Functional Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and a minimum of 2+ years’ relevant fleet management or 6+ years of relevant fleet management experience petroleum fleet knowledge a plus
Highly proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel and data analysis skills
Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge of DOT regulations required
Commercial Driver’s License CDL A preferred
