The Executive Director – Financial Planning & Analysis (“FP&A”) will partner closely with the Vice President – FP&A and Senior Vice President – FP&A on all budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyzing efforts to report and summarize accurate financial information, identify business opportunities, and drive business performance across the enterprise. This position will lead a team that works across functional areas and will collaborate and present clear analyses and recommendations to key property- and corporate-level counterparts and executives.

All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts policies, practices and procedures.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Partner with the Vice President to lead the functional team in all budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyzing efforts.
  • Develop, own, and refine analytical outputs.
  • Own all monthly, quarterly, annual, and other ad-hoc analyses and reports to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
  • Drive the identification of opportunities within the enterprise to maximize operating performance and drive EBITDA growth.
  • Collaborate with all corporate and property stakeholders to understand and create solutions for their business and analytical needs.
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence and Data Governance team to gather functional area requirements to create and drive reporting and analytics needs.
  • Drive and lead change management activities in alignment with the Company’s vision, mission, and values; network externally to seek appropriate benchmarks and ideas for innovation
  • Oversee Human Resources responsibilities for the specifically assigned areas; create and maintain a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork, performance feedback, individual recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction ensuring quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that encompass the company’s diversity commitment.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :

Required:

  • At least eight years of financial planning, analysis, or related experience.
  • Previous experience leading and mentoring a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field; or equivalent education and experience.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
  • Master’s degree in a related field.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Gaming registration in applicable jurisdictions may be required
