The Role:
As Plusgrade continues to grow rapidly and expand globally, the Director, Growth Strategy & Operations will be a critical member of the Commercial leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. As a key leader in our business, our Director, Growth Strategy & Operations will develop and lead a team focused on creating, optimizing and accelerating new growth opportunities for Plusgrade. This role is involved in all aspects of Plusgrade’s commercial success globally, including deal analytics, sales compensation and measurement, pricing, commercial strategy, partner relationships, and partner and prospect engagement. The Director, Growth Strategy & Operations is expected to be a critical change agent throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
Execute & Deliver:

Lead the implementation of revenue focused operations best practices, including pricing strategy, incentive compensation optimization, new opportunity analysis, contracting and legal workflow, and commercial analytics and support.

Collaborate cross-organizationally on creating robust performance and opportunity metrics that the Executive Team will use to make informed decisions surrounding commercial growth and go-to-market strategy.

Lead the preparation of commercial team presentations and content for current partners, prospects, company leadership and contribute to board level presentations.

Partner with other Plusgrade leaders in product, finance, engineering, partner support and sales to ensure strong alignment across the business.

Structure, develop and implement scalable processes and procedures to implement an insights-driven revenue growth approach, helping bring exceptional value to our partners and prospects.

Act with a high sense of urgency and provide hands-on collaboration across initiatives.
Building & Leading a Team:

Develop and lead a new best-in-class revenue growth team with a heads-down and ferocious focus on revenue growth and market wins.

Build and lead a small globally focused inside sales team to support new products targeted at new customer groups not previously serviced by Plusgrade.

Promote a team culture of collaboration in a growth focused commercial organization achieving growth objectives in all Plusgrade locations – currently Singapore, Montreal and New York.
Qualifications:
Core Experience:
-
3-5 years of proven success in a high growth focused commercial and revenue growth leadership role with a proven track record of achieving process transformations and substantial improvements in deal success, growth analytics, account planning and reporting, insights driven presentation materials & pricing strategy.

Ideally, 2-3 years of management consulting or investment banking experience in addition to or as a portion of the overall 3-5 years of experience above.
