Job Summary:

As a Contract Manager you will be responsible for negotiating national agreements for the group purchasing organization in the area of Human Resources. Your objective will be to ensure best in class industry pricing and contract terms and conditions as well as contract implementation and ongoing member support.

Duties (included but not limited to):

  • Plan and execute project timelines for assigned categories, with guidance and oversight from manager.
  • Understand the product categories assigned and how end-users interface with the products.
  • Use knowledge about supplier to develop and execute strategies, create leverage, and mitigate risks.
  • Responsible for the sourcing process for assigned portfolio including market research, bid preparation, RFI/RFP, contract negotiations, and contract launch.
  • Present strategies to customer-led Advisory Boards and executive level Supply Chain Board.
  • Oversee supplier relationship during the sourcing process. Participate in supplier business reviews and review new products/technologies as they arise in assigned categories.
  • Resolve supplier and/or customer issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers.


Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Accredited College Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Supply Chain, Healthcare, Business, Finance, Human Resources)
  • 1-3 years experience in strategic sourcing and negotiating contracts.
  • Healthcare knowledge is a plus
  • Human Resource experience is a plus
