SCHEDULE: Full-time
Job Summary:
Duties (included but not limited to):
- Plan and execute project timelines for assigned categories, with guidance and oversight from manager.
- Understand the product categories assigned and how end-users interface with the products.
- Use knowledge about supplier to develop and execute strategies, create leverage, and mitigate risks.
- Responsible for the sourcing process for assigned portfolio including market research, bid preparation, RFI/RFP, contract negotiations, and contract launch.
- Present strategies to customer-led Advisory Boards and executive level Supply Chain Board.
- Oversee supplier relationship during the sourcing process. Participate in supplier business reviews and review new products/technologies as they arise in assigned categories.
- Resolve supplier and/or customer issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Accredited College Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Supply Chain, Healthcare, Business, Finance, Human Resources)
- 1-3 years experience in strategic sourcing and negotiating contracts.
- Healthcare knowledge is a plus
- Human Resource experience is a plus
